‘Business @ Breakfast’ features Healthy Harrison’s workplace
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Workplace wellness was the topic of Harrison County’s Business at Breakfast.
The Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly networking event Friday morning in Bridgeport. Directors from Healthy Harrison spoke to members about the group’s creation of a workplace wellness program. City of Clarksburg employees recently completed the program and another pilot program is in place at United Hospital Center.
Healthy Harrison said its model for a workplace wellness program can be used with all types of businesses.
“So currently we are in a pilot phase of the project but we have every intention to provide a successful outcome so that we can determine ways of integrating it into other businesses through out the county,” said John Paul Nardelli, executive director of Healthy Harrison.
The next Breakfast at Business will be held April 6, and it will be focused on community development.
