  1. I'd say in the past 2 years 9/10 mornings have started with some version of this shake. And when I was dieting back in the Spring sometimes I'd drink 2 of these a day just because of how much volume the recipe makes.

    BTW, if you don't want to make as much just cut the recipe in half ??

  2. If you like everything extra chocolaty you need to try the Hershey's special dark cocoa powder, I buy it at WalMart, it takes the chocolate in everything up A notch. I like lots of ice in my protein shakes, I have killed so many blenders by stuffing too much ice in them, I also know all about cleaning my blender concoctions off of the kitchen ceiling, Lol.

    My recipe is:-
    500ml skimmed milk
    30g whey protein
    60g flaxseed
    15g chia seed
    20g raw cacao
    15g maca powder
    5g nutritional yeast
    10g wheatgerm oil
    20g frozen carrots
    75g frozen strawberries

    It's super nutritional, but I wouldn't say it tastes great. It tastes good enough that I don't mind drinking it once per day, but I wouldn't have it any more often out of choice.

  4. Is this more of a craving killer or a meal replacement? I'm sorry for the noob question, just trying to learn as I need to start taking care of myself.
